Helen Aoki is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in aesthetics with a passion for enhancing natural beauty. With over a decade of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, Helen has cultivated her ability to deliver personalized treatment plans that prioritize patient satisfaction and safety. She combines her clinical expertise with a wide range of treatments and services to achieve beautiful and natural results. Helen especially loves bio-stimulatory products and treatments, which are designed to stimulate the body’s own cells to regenerate. She is dedicated to ongoing education and stays up to date with the latest advancements in aesthetic medicine.
Emma was born and raised in Idaho Falls and moved to Utah to pursue a career as a Master Aesthetician. She graduated from the National Institute of Medical Aesthetics in 2021 and has been with The Plastics Clinic since 2022. Her favorite part about being an aesthetician is helping people achieve their dream skin and seeing their confidence grow. Her favorite treatment to do is Hydrafacials for relaxation and the Moxi laser for a full skin transformation!
Meet Chelsey Bird, a dedicated wellness consultant passionate about supporting patients in achieving their health, fitness, and weight loss goals. Specializing in patients using GLP-1 agonists, those preparing for plastic surgery, and anyone looking to lose body fat, build muscle and improve their lifestyle habits.
Chelsey graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from Utah Valley University in 2014. Her passion for fitness and supporting others in reaching their goals led her to pursue a career as a nutrition and fitness coach. She holds a mindset certification, several nutrition certifications, a fitness certification, and a somatic life coaching certification. She has been supporting clients with improving their health since 2018 and joined our clinic in September 2023.
In addition to her professional expertise, Chelsey has competed in several fitness competitions, including NPC Bikini and the Miss America organization. Her personal experience in these arenas provides her with a unique perspective and deep understanding of the dedication and commitment required to achieve fitness goals.
Chelsey’s approach centers on sustainable methods to reach fitness goals and enhance relationships with food, exercise, and body image. She loves helping men and women achieve their fitness aspirations in a sustainable way, fostering a positive and healthy lifestyle.
Shelbi is a highly skilled physician associate, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. Her educational journey is a testament to her dedication to providing first-rate healthcare to our patients. Shelbi holds a Bachelor of Science in Community Health Education from Utah Valley University, where her passion for health care was ignited. Her pursuit of excellence led her to Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions, where she graduated at the top of her class, earning a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies. Undeterred, Shelbi continued her educational journey, achieving a Doctorate of Medical Science with an emphasis on clinical practice, once again at the top of her class.
Our talented and compassionate chief of all things, Mindee, has been in the beauty and aesthetic industries for more than 21 years working as a cosmetologist and in medical spas as a basic aesthetician. In addition to managing the spa operations of the South Jordan, UT office, Mindee has been a bookkeeper for more than 20 years and also does all the finances. She is the mother of three wonderful children.
Mindee is Dr. Jerry Chidester’s wife, and the two make an unparalleled team.
Shannon graduated from Weber State University School of Nursing in 2011. Beginning her career in the Shock/Trauma ICU, she dedicated six years to the field before finding what she terms “happy medicine.” Once Shannon found aesthetic injecting and aesthetic medicine she knew she had found her passion. What captivates Shannon about injection nursing is its unique blend of nursing knowledge and it also offers a creative outlet.
Believing in the continual pursuit of excellence for her patients, Shannon committed to furthering her education. She returned to school, successfully earning her license as a board-certified Nurse Practitioner.
For Shannon, the most rewarding aspect of her job lies in witnessing the emotional transformation of her patients as they gain confidence through their treatments. She genuinely feels she has the best patients and looks forward to working every day.
Outside of work, Shannon actively engages in outdoor activities with her husband and three children. Camping and boating are among their favorite pastimes.
Callie was born and raised here in Utah, graduating with a degree in communications from Westminster College. After working in professional and collegiate sports in Arizona, she returned home to pursue her passion for medical aesthetics and graduated from the National Institute of Medical Aesthetics (NIMA) in 2021. She has a passion for building relationships with her patients and loves being a part of their skincare journey. Her favorite treatments to perform on patients and to have done on herself are Hydrafacial, Microneedling, and MOXI. She can’t live without her Skinbetter Science Alto Advanced, AlphaRet, and Alastin HydraTint.
With over seven years of dedicated experience in the plastic surgery and aesthetic field, Jeiseang has established herself as a highly skilled and knowledgeable professional. Her journey began in social media management, where she showcased her talent for creating engaging content and effective marketing strategies. Her exceptional performance and commitment led to her advancement to the dual roles of Office Manager and Creative Marketing Director.
Jeiseang holds a basic esthetic license, reflecting her deep expertise and commitment to the aesthetic industry. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah and is currently pursuing an MBA there, further enhancing her business acumen and leadership capabilities.
In her current roles, Jeiseang excels in optimizing office operations, streamlining processes, and leading a dynamic team. Kylie is our social media specialist who runs all of our social media! She is self taught with personal experience in influencer marketing and content creation. Kylie loves working at The Plastics Clinic because it gives her an chance to be creative and fun. In her free time she loves golfing with her family, playing with her dogs or laying by the pool with a good book.
Ali joins The Plastic Clinic with 17 years of industry experience. She began her career in Aesthetics in 2006 and has worked exclusively for plastic surgeons since 2010. Her kind and nurturing nature coupled with personalized treatment plans and services align with her philosophy that total body health equates to beautiful skin. Ali’s extensive knowledge and use of cutting-edge technologies and techniques along with the best medical skin care lines, assures that you leave The Plastic Clinic with a personalized plan for reaching your skin’s best potential.
Ali attended Nima (National Medical Aesthetics Institute) and graduated with her Master Esthetician License. Ali has advanced training and certification in CO2 Laser Resurfacing, Erbium Laser Resurfacing, Laser Hair Reduction, Photo-facials, Radio Frequency Skin Tightening, Radio Frequency Resurfacing, and Radio Frequency Micro-Needling. Ali is an expert in Platelet- Rich Plasma (PRP) micro needling, chemical peels, and medical grade facials. She is also a designated training partner for Sciton, Dr. Bitters and is certified on the BBL Hero and Moxi.
Ali continues to attend advanced training courses as part of her continuing education to ensure she is utilizing the most up to date products and methods available. Her passion for skin health and her commitment to her clients is apparent and she is grateful to share her skills with the talented team at The Plastic Clinic.
A licensed master aesthetician, Kennadie graduated from the National Institute of Medical Aesthetics (NIMA) in 2020. Her favorite treatment to perform is microneedling complemented with a chemical peel. She also assists Shannon with injections.
Katie is a former collegiate lacrosse player, coach, and ICU nurse. After graduating from nursing school at Westminster College, she worked in the burn trauma ICU for four years. From her time as a student-athlete, she developed an interest in health and nutrition and the amazing effects the right foods have on your body. Katie decided to pursue her passion in 2020 and become a certified nutrition coach and personal trainer. Since starting at The Plastics Clinic, she has loved combining her medical and nutritional knowledge to help patients achieve the best version of themselves. When she is not at work she loves spending time with her husband and 2 dogs, working on house projects, going to the gym and being outside.
As an accomplished professional with 5 years of experience in the medical spa industry, I aim to succeed in customer service and operations management. I graduated from Aveda Institute Phoenix in 2019 and have been able to acquire skills in delivering exceptional client experiences and overseeing administrative functions in fast-paced environments. My career journey includes managing operations at a prominent medical spa based in Utah, where I spent 3 years enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring seamless client interactions. My role involved coordinating schedules, managing inquiries, and overseeing a team dedicated to delivering exceptional services. I joined The Plastics Clinic & Spa team in March of 2024 and my goal is to ensure every client feels valued and receives personalized attention from the moment they contact us to their post-procedure care.
