What is Forehead Reduction?
Forehead reduction surgery, also referred to as hairline advancement, is a cosmetic procedure that reduces the distance between the eyebrows and the hairline. Removing a small portion of forehead skin and gently advancing the scalp forward lowers the hairline and creates a more balanced facial proportion. Unlike non-surgical methods that attempt to “mask” a high forehead, this procedure physically alters the hairline’s position for long-lasting, natural results. Depending on the patient’s goals, it can be performed as a standalone procedure or in combination with other facial surgeries, such as a brow lift.
