What is a Facelift?
A facelift, or rhytidectomy, is a surgical procedure that addresses visible signs of aging in the lower face and neck. By repositioning underlying tissues, removing excess skin, and smoothing deep creases, a facelift can restore one’s contours for a more youthful appearance without altering natural features because the goal isn’t to look like someone else—it’s to look like a younger, refreshed version of yourself.
Today’s facelift techniques are more advanced and subtle than ever. At our Salt Lake City practice, Our Board-certified plastic surgeons specialize in modern approaches that focus on long-lasting, natural results, avoiding the overly tight or “windswept” appearance sometimes associated with older methods.
Different kinds of facelifts are also available.
